Super Tuesday 2020 Winner and Losers

Super Tuesday 2020 is over, although there are pending electoral counts to be completed. The outcome is clear, the Democratic Party electorate does not want a “revolution,” rather they are looking at who can beat Donald Trump in November.

The winner should not surprise anyone. Joe Biden is the clear winner and the heir apparent for the Democratic Party establishment.

Biden will likely be the nominee when the dust settles.

The loser is Bernie Sanders. Sanders believes that his supporters vote. Therein lies the problem for Sanders. No matter how energized Sander’s voters are, when it matters they are absent from at the polls. Super Tuesday proves this.

The surprise is Mike Bloomberg. Although Bloomberg did not generate the delegate votes he needed, he is showing in third place among some of the states that voted last night. Considering his campaign is based on money, it is surprising that Bloomberg placed as he did, although it appears that money is not enough to get the delegates needed to be the nominee.

And, the real loser is Elizabeth Warren. It is time the Warren exists the stage. The voters are clear on this.
