Will There Be a Vaccine for Election?

Does Donald Trump have a chance to win on Election Day? The economy is in shambles, notwithstanding the booming markets. Most voters do not benefit directly from a stock market rally. For most voters, the stock market is just numbers scrolled across screens. The real metric for voters is their jobs. Do they have jobs to feed their families? Therein lies Trump’s reelection problem.

The unemployment rate remains high.

The Trump administration tries to downplay the job crisis by focusing on the stock market, but like most, the Trump administration understands that it all comes down to the Coronavirus.

Everyone understands that the election is about the economy. Everyone also understands that the global pandemic is unprecedented and thus it can be used as an excuse by Donald Trump and as the reason by Joe Biden.

The economic crisis can be traced directly to Covid-19.

And thus, it is for this reason that the only tangible offering Donald Trump can make for his reelection campaign is a cure for Covid-19.

A cure is all but impossible, but a vaccine would do the trick.

For Donald Trump, a Covid-19 vaccine is a political lifesaver for him.

However, in politics it is all smoke-and-mirrors.

Trump voters subconsciously know that a working vaccine is not around the corner, but Trump and his supporters understand that the illusion of a vaccine is all that is needed by Election Day.

Because of this it is highly probable that a “vaccine” is just around the corner.

Whether the vaccine is real or whether it works is immaterial. All Donald Trump needs is the illusion that he has delivered the vaccine that saves America.
